NCR-27 was blocked by the courts — NCR-28 is the order in force
Wage Order NCR-27 was approved on June 23, 2026. NCR-28's own recital says it never took effect because of a TRO and a writ of preliminary injunction. Cases are still pending before RTC Pasig Branch 152 and RTC Navotas Branch 287, per NWPC's NCR page. NWPC's page still lists NCR-27 as effective July 25, 2026, which contradicts NCR-28; this page follows the text of NCR-28. Check nwpc.dole.gov.ph for later court developments.

Monthly and annual equivalents
Monthly = daily × 26 working days (NWPC's own divisor under Labor Code Article 83). Annual = daily × 313 working days.
The ×26 divisor assumes a 6-day work week with paid regular holidays and an unpaid rest day. Different rest-day arrangements give a different monthly figure.
