Book III — Conditions of Employment
Article 84Hours worked.
ELI5— what this means for you
'Hours worked' covers all time you're required to be on duty or at the workplace — including waiting time and short rest breaks. Your lunch break (typically 30–60 min) is usually not counted. But a quick 10-minute coffee break IS counted.
Key point
Short breaks = work time. Lunch breaks = not counted. Know the difference.
