Book III — Conditions of Employment
Article 118Retaliatory measures.
ELI5— what this means for you
Your employer cannot reduce your wages, cut your benefits, or fire you because you filed a labor complaint, testified in a DOLE proceeding, or are about to testify. This is retaliation and is specifically prohibited.
Key point
Filed a labor complaint and suddenly got a pay cut? That's illegal retaliation.
