Article 205
ELI5— what this means for you
Support can be demanded only from the time the legal action for support is filed. You cannot collect retroactive support for periods before you filed the case — except for the period the case was pending.

The right to receive support under this Title as well as any money or property obtained as such support shall not be levied upon on attachment or execution. (302a)
