Article 221
ELI5— what this means for you
Parents and others exercising parental authority are civilly liable for the damages caused by the acts or omissions of their unemancipated minor children living in their company. If the parent has no control over the child (the child was in school), the school's liability under Art. 218–219 kicks in.
