Adoption may be rescinded (cancelled) on these grounds: (1) the adoptee has repeatedly and gravely violated the adopter; (2) the adoptee has abandoned the adopter; (3) the adoptee has committed an act causing dishonor or embarrassment; or (4) other valid grounds at the court's discretion.
